Rated 5 out of 5 by The features of product are excellent I bought this stihl from abita lumber and haven't had a problem yet. It has plenty of power for those tough edges and high grass. This thing has never let me down like other brands have in the past. By far the best equipment I've ever owned. July 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This weed-eater is surprising lite I would suggest the bigger battery and faster charger. I bought the small battery and charger. Silent which is nice for the dawn pre-heat time zone. I like the fact that i don't have to take anything apart for winding in new string. July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great power, fuel efficient trimmer Just about finished with the recommended break-in cycle. Trimmer has tons of power (lacks a bit during break-in, but that was expected), and is an overall great trimmer. Plan to add the blade to tackle some saplings but for normal trimming and edging, very happy with my purchase. Only con I have found is that the factory string breaks and the bump feed sometimes will not advance (string had cut in on itself in the spool from the factory). Simple mixture of 50:1 2 cycle with the torque and fuel efficiency of a 4 cycle. July 21, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutly great machine but 1 flaw I'm 14 years old and run a landscaping business and I need machines that are reliable and powerful for all sorts of jobs I purchased this at a sub dealer in June 2013 and used it all summer when winter rolled around I drained the gas when I took it out in spring I tried to start it and started right up and runs but after I let it idle for 10 seconds it bogs down and dies I don't know if it's a saftey thing or getting to much gas and choking out but in an overall rating I give it 6 out of 5 stars June 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great but Expensive I have had FS0 R for 3 year now it work fine on My farm it got a lot of power to cut throught thick grass and saplings. i have used it with very little trouble. The price is X3 as much as a home owner trimmer but it last longer and work well. It got a lot of power so you do have to be carefull around siding and plactic but on the farm it work great. It weight is heavy but power come with add weight. FS 70 are lighter but have less power i think. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Stihl FS90R is a great trimmer and has lots of great features, power, and great fuel economy. This trimmer is outstanding! It is so easy to start, just overall an outstanding machine. I purchased this machine in January of 2014, it is now June and it has not shown and type of ware, damage, or anything like that. This machine is very durable, and can cut anything you need it to cut. This machine is also VERY quiet. I have let it run before in my garage, and I can't even hear it in my house, but when you get it revved up it sounds like a four wheeler, I like it. The Stihl autocut 25-2, trimmer bumb head that comes standard on this model is very nice, well built and feeds out line perfectly. The quiet line that comes on this head when you buy it, I think is personally not very good, although it does reduce some of the wind noise. The line that I use now is the round line, I think it is okay but does anybody recommend any other line brand or any other from Stihl? Anyways I really love this machine and I might just have to buy another one next year! Also does anybody recommend any blower from Stihl? I am looking for a new one and I don't know if I should get a handheld or backpack blower. If you have any recommendations then please comment them below. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good power to weight ratio. I have many thousands of hours on my FS90R as a line trimmer. It never fails to start and perform well everyday. I often use it one handed and it's very ergonomic in that regard. That being said, I had to replace the carb early in it's life, as well as a couple of those overengineered gas caps and the fuel line which was, several years ago, a common problem resulting in much warranty work for the dealers.I also employ a wide cutting swathe and this trimmer has a strong, durable clutch.
