Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Hedge Trimmer I have owned! I have owned many of the cheaper trimmers from Home Depot and Lowes. At first there was a bit of sticker shock. However, you really do get what you pay for. What used to take me the majority of the day to accomplish I finished in just two hours. I love the extended reach and adjustable angle. Easy to use and lots of power. Engine is not loud and very little vibration on the hands. I am now a true Sthil fan! May 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'VE BOUGHT STIHL ITEMS. I TRUST THERE COMPANY AND THERE PRODUCTS MY REVIEW WILL ALLWAYS BE IN THE POSITIVE GRAF! FOR STIHL CORP.THESE STIHL PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!! April 25, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Theres room for improvement. I have used this on a few occasions barrowed dont The engine lacks RPMs so its wont cut as fast as some other hedge cutters. The blade wont go thought thicker bushes. where as my other hedge cutter will. There a small power band on that engine almost all or nothing. It would be very hard to part with money for this unit. The handle gets hung up in what you are cutting. Its very heavy tires you out fast. i noticed it was a bit off balance. I would like to see a engine that has more rpms so the blade dont bind up to much. I am very disapointed in this unit and will be considering other brands April 6, 2016

Rated 2 out of 5 by Frustrating Piece Of Equipment There are two issues with this hedge trimmer (and this goes for all of the extended hedge trimmers as well) - the first one is the biggest issue: there's not a nose guard at the end of the blade which keeps one from making dents in a wall etc. Echo has a nose guard on their hedge trimmers (which are also better at pruning smaller leaved plants). Because of this lack of ingenuity there is a 'kick guard' on the handle of the power supply. It gets in the way and is completely unnecessary if the hedge pruner had a nose guard.Like Echo does. The second thing is it's either on full blast or idling. The old skool power heads let you adjust the motor speed for what you want it to be. The new ones?Terrible. They tend to lock up too so pulling the chord to start one is a challenge often. Rated 5 out of 5 by great tool ,makes job very easy very nice tool and very reliable, makes the job of triming hedges a snap July 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by All the features needed to trim a variety of hedges Works very well but the longer shaft makes it a little top heavy. If you have a lot to trim then periodic rest periods are advised. Otherwise, can not be a better trimmer on the market. The adjustable blade makes work easy. July 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by powerful yet quiet This trimmer is just what our business needed for those taller and/or wider hedges. We have had this for over a year now and it is still as sharp as the day we bought it even worth all the use it gets. It was much quieter than we expected which was a great surprise. This tool has yet to be in the shop for anything. Highly recommended. May 1, 2015
