Rated 2 out of 5 by One major flaw Our company has used stihl cut-off saws for years, we use them to cut steel decking and the saws see very rough service. The last 3 or 4 saws we have purchased have all had the same problem, the muffle bolts rattle loose. Eventually either the holes become stripped out or the saw loses power from being run with a loose muffler. We have tried high-temp loctite but it only lasts for so long....a very frustrating problem to have with an otherwise very good saw. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Demo Saw Im a professional concrete paver installer, and I have used all of the brands over the last fifteen years. This model saw is the best. It is the easiest to start, and the filter system is excellent. These saws have been the most reliable, only problem i have ever had is the pull chords are prone to breaking. The handle location on the top of the saw instead of the back like all others, is so much more comfortable and makes the saw more manuverable. Also parts are much more affordable and readily available compared to all the other brands Ive had, which I think is all of them. November 5, 2012
