Rated 5 out of 5 by Suspension saves arthritic hands. Upon purchase of this saw, I started to acquire the wood needed to heat my home for this winter. I was fortunate to have several large oak trees that had expired and were well seasoned for use this year. AS YOU KNOW, OAK IS A HARD WOOD AND DENSE BY NATURE. MY NEW SAW WAS UP TO THE CHALLENGE AND PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE AS I CUT MULTIPLE CHORDS. I have since burned about twenty tanks of gas and have not encountered any problems. Best saw I have used in twenty plus years of heating my home with wood. I am an experienced user and find this product more than adequate. My only concern is will my health allow me to keep up with this saw, LOL October 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great saw, starts up awesome, good power for around the yard applications Followed the extended warranty plan with the HP Ultra fuel oil, check, use the Platinum bar oil, check, barely pulling on the pull cord to start the chainsaw while up a ladder in a tree,...priceless. Well enough power to cut anything I will ever see in our yard and the easy stop/start is a great safety feature, whether up a tree or down on the ground. Messed with the easy tension and chain adjustment, works great, looks super easy to change the bar or chain when the time comes. I'm digging my saw! October 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by The starting mechanism is an excellant improvement. The chain saw gave me troubles as first due to a faulty carbuerator. The carbuerator was replaced under warranty and since then the chain saw has been trouble free. The ability to change chain blades without the need for tool is also a good improvement.Overall, I am very satisfied with the MS211C chain saw. October 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great power. Cuts quick and clean. I bought this after getting fed up with the 20" 50cc Poulan I wish I never bought! The Stihl cuts fast and clean. I can't believe it is only 35cc...it out preforms my old 50cc. The easy2start and quick chain adjustment is amazing. Don't waste your money a on any other brand. P.S. We have a lot of dead Ash trees in my area and I've noticed all the pro companies taking down trees are using Stihl...go figure. September 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ms210 had way more umph I think most of these reviewers just reviewed a brand new saw. Mine is less than a year old only used a few times and looks like it may have to go back for a service. Stalls constantly - had to get out the hand saw to finish a small chore.Got used to the easy start but worry about reliability. Much flimsier plastic all around. Barely used it for a few hours on two or three occasions and oiler gets clogged easily after an hour. Plan on a bar oiler clean when you fill up. The plastic bar release may be handy "way out back" but again way to flimsy looking. The bar tension adjust is a good thought but difficult to adjust without dinging the knuckles. September 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This was a big step up from my previous saw My 30 year old saw of a different brand finally died. After reading many reviews for quite a few brands, many I never heard of, and my 5 years experience with a Stihl leaf blower, I chose Stihl. The first time I used it I knew I made the right choice. There is one major complaint I do have with this saw: who's going to pick up all these darn branches? September 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice saw Had a little trouble starting on first start up but no problems now. Good saw. September 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Came with the factory installed chain installed backwards QC seems a bit questionable. PIcked up the saw after reading many many reviews.Went out to trim some trees and while it started easy, it spewed oil and seemed intent on cutting by friction burns. Couldn't cut anything.Looked it over, and realized that the chain was installed with the cutting edges faced away from the direction of travel.Reversed the chain, and it stopped spewing oil and cut fine. Not good quality control in my opinion. Add one more inspection Stihl, to your assembly line. August 26, 2014
