    Great Brancher
Bought this small chainsaw from Brad @ AZ POWER AND LAWN IN FLAG. He gave me a great deal, Plus he knew what he was talking about unlike the big box stores.

    Operates with ease!!
I purchased my 180 C-BE to use around my house as well as my kids homes. I wanted a saw that be easy to start, reasons,of age of myself and when clearing bush by yourself, so starting and stopping the saw was going to be important. A slight pull on the rope a that" puppy " fires right up. This is of course, after the initial startup of the day. The saw is light so it's not hard on your back!

Best Chainsaw I have ever Used/Owned
Got this saw a couple weeks ago and have been using it to clean up trees and limbs that are covering the fence rows in out hay fields. Light weight, always starts, cuts like a dream. It is NOT a beast that you can power through huge hardwoods with because it lacks that kind of power, but that's the trade off for the light weight. Love the Easy-Start...seemed kind of weird at first, but once you get used to it, you'll wish it was on all of your 2-cycle (and 4-cycle) engines.

It's good enough for my needs
I use this saw around the house and cut some small stock firewood. It's plenty for what I need. I don't really care for the easy start system. It feels strange, mostly because I'm not used to it yet I suppose. The first startup took forever. The second one took awhile, but since that point it has been pretty easy. Good saw for small stock and occasional use.

Easy Starting, Nice Power, Good Balance, Relatively Light
I'm on tank 3 and so far and I've been pretty careful during the initial break in but the saw has been as advertised. The easy start feature is nice when you get use to it and the saw does a good job trimming and cutting through moderate sized timber. The tool-less quick chain tensioner is a plus as well. I looked at several competitor saws and seriously at one other major brand. The Stihl reliability, durability, service reputation and the 211s features were the final determining factor. This ... read more saw is a nice light/medium duty small saw and I'd recommend it as a home owner or ranch hand saw

Great saw, starts up awesome, good power for around the yard applications
Followed the extended warranty plan with the HP Ultra fuel oil, check, use the Platinum bar oil, check, barely pulling on the pull cord to start the chainsaw while up a ladder in a tree,...priceless. Well enough power to cut anything I will ever see in our yard and the easy stop/start is a great safety feature, whether up a tree or down on the ground. Messed with the easy tension and chain adjustment, works great, looks super easy to change the bar or chain when the time comes. I'm digging my saw!

Great Chainsaw...took down 4 Ash trees with no problem
Took down 2 Ash trees one weekend and 2 more the next weekend. The saw did a great job and the chain adjuster helped make it easy. I did have an issue with the chain and the dealer replaced it. Getting the live training from the dealer and having someone to go to with questions was worth the extra couple bucks than buying a cheaper brand from the big box stores. Wish I had bought Stihl when I was younger.

    Great tool
After the demonstration of how to start and use the saw, I expected some problems to pop up like all of the other saws that I have owned. I was very surprised at the ease of starting and using the chain saw. I have shown several others how easy and dependable the saw is. Well worth the money spent.

I needed a small saw for the light cutting work, and this fits the task at hand.
My workhorse is a Farm Boss, which is used for the heavy work. The MS 181 is a great lightweight saw used for a run of small cutting tasks. This saw idles great, reeves up smooth and quick, and cuts like a knife! Yes, it is underpowered as compared to the Stihl Farm Boss, but that is why I have the Farm Boss. The MS 181 is a very welcomed addition to my overall capability, and its several pounds lighter in weight, and it does the job well. For its size, there is plenty of power. I am quite ... read more satisfied with this purchase and recommend the saw as a lightweight saw that carries the reputation of a Stihl.

    Surprised me
I burned up my 20in. Brand x saw and was forced to use my MS170 for a large project. I had resigned myself that I would run this little saw into the ground. After a week of industrial work and about 8 cords of oak she still runs like the day I bought the saw. Really shocked me! I had several hands using the saw and expected the worst. Great saw and great price, out worked my commercial saw!

    Best Saw for the Money
I have already owned two and they have never given me any issues over the past few years pull it once or twice and it starts right up. So light that anyone can use it. Stihl Saws are the best for the money in my opinion. I bought a 200t a while back and i liked it so much i now have a 331 and a 441 magnum. Don't see needing anything bigger. This is a great saw for around the house. Before this i bought a bunch of other brands and after a few months i had to throw them away because they were ... read more unrepairable. Stihl has never given me any trouble. Best brand out there.

    Great Chainsaw
Purchased this as I had a couple trees and many large branches to removed from my newly purchased property. I'm not a fan of the smell of gasoline or the idea of breathing the fumes in. The saw it had the power that I needed, no emissions, and is so quiet. The running time is perfect with the Stihl AP-180. Since you're never running the saw continuously, you can get hours wroth of work in. Stick it back on the charger every time you take a break and you're good to go all day. I'm looking ... read more forward to using it for future housework as well as making it a necessary addition to my overlanding toolkit.

    Lightweight and quiet enough!
I just love this chainsaw, because I'm a 67 year old woman who still likes to work on my property and I need lightweight now. The only problem and maybe it's me, is that it leaks the oil out of it, after use and I have to put it on absorbent papers. My husband thinks all chain saws leak some oil from under it. Even if it isn't very full of oil. Is that just what accumulated from going out the chain? It is coming from under where I set it down. Am I supposed to empty the oil every time, somehow, ... read more or how can I avoid this? I call this my "toy". Dot

    A quiet and powerful saw
We had severe thunderstorms pass through northwest Ohio last night (6/23/13) and I lost the top of my hybrid poplar tree. At 6:00 am on the 24th I was cleaning up the tree damage without waking the neighbors. The MSA 160 C-BQ saw was powerful enough to cut up 5 and 6 inch branches with ease and it was remarkably quiet. In an hour's time the clean-up was done and I was on my way to work at my regular job. What a great little chain saw! Thank you!

    MS 251 WOOD BOSS
I was looking to buy a saw so I could cut some fire wood and smoking wood. I searched and searched red reviews and all that jazz. I went to a local ace hardware that was stihl dealer and the salesman who also happened to be there mechanic took the time to go over this particular saw with me. After I decided to buy it he took me in the back to his shop and filled it up with gas an bar and chain oil. He started it and tuned it and got it running perfect (it didn't take much). I took it out today ... read more the same day I bought it and cut a truck bed full of oak and this saw did phenominal. Never had one issue with it. I love this Saw!
I bought this saw after a tornado struck our campground. It is the first chainsaw i have ever purchased, and I am so glad I did. Always starts easy, easy to adjust the bar and very fuel efficient. I have put in about four days of constant use at the campground and only went thru 1 gallon of gas. 8 hrs a day almost all day long it has had to be sharpened a few times, but does all the ground work effortlessly. I highly recommend this saw for a homeowner as I have punished this saw, it even fell ... read more off a ten foot high roof and never missed a beat.
