    Log stand or Log Jack
This is a great tool for lifting fallen trees. it elevates the fallen tree so your chain saw does not touch the ground when cutting a fallen tree.

    A MUST for all loggers
I have a STIHL Cant hook along with this log stand and what a miracle tool it is! I have used it countless times in the forest and I have lifted some VERY heavy felled trees with it! With the tree lifted, cutting the trunk/branches are a breeze! As I mentioned, this is a MUST own for all loggers and/or farmers that rely on firewood!

Works well for getting logs off the ground.
I purchased the log stand with a 60" STIHL cant hook and find it to be very useful in raising logs off the ground far enough to keep your chain from hitting the dirt. An added benefit is that the stand is easily removed for using the cant hook alone. Easy to use and very durable.

Heavy Duty - Does what it's built for
Sandy dropped a huge oak on my lot. Moving and positioning 25 to 30" diameter logs for cutting and clearing seemed impossible without this. Using this tool and some tuck ramps as pivot points, it became easy. Just bought the log jack extension to raise remaining pieces for cutting.

    Leverage power
I have had a 60" can't hook for about ten years. Though I don't use it every time I cut it is still a very important piece of equipment. With this tool I can roll, pivot and relocate logs of great weight with minimal effort. I also purchased the log stand attachment at the same time. The main body of the cant hook is tubular aluminum with a dense foam grip that extends down the shaft about 15". Both the large and small hooks are made of steel. The cant is threaded into a nut that has been ... read more welded into the end of the shaft. The larger log hook is bolted to a bracket that has been welded to the shaft. So either hook could be replaced if the need would arise. I have firmly grabbed logs over 30" in diameter and repositioned them so that I could cut for firewood. I have used the cant hook to roll 20' logs that I cut partially from the top so that I might finish the cut without hitting the ground. This is where the log stand comes into play. With it bolted on I will grab a log towards the middle and roll it onto the stand in order to cut off rounds without damaging the chain. Another quality product marketed by Stihl.

Very useful, versatile must have tool in the woods.
I purchased one of each size Cant Hooks from my STIHL Dealer as I find them to be very useful tools to use in moving large logs for blocking. I've had mine since STIHL brought them out and they are extremely durable, well made, valuable tools to have if you do a lot of firewood cutting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Addicted to This Tool
I picked this up after seeing guys talk about how useful they could be. I immediately saw the build quality and knew this tool simply wouldn’t fail. I anticipated I’d get a good bit of use with it, but what I couldn’t have predicted is just how indispensable this tool has become. All I can say is if you wonder if you’d get enough use out of it to justify the expense, , ,go ahead and buy it and you will not be disappointed. I use this to load/unload split fire wood, , carry rounds before ... read more splitting, , to help on the log splitter, , and to even move larger pieces around the work site. Don’t know how I got along without it.

Works great for gathering blocks of wood.
I purchased the Hookaroon because I was curious how well it would make my job easier. I use it around my Logsplitter to pull blocks of wood to me while I'm splitting wood. I've had mine for at least five years and I wouldn't be without it when I split wood. GREAT tool for those that like to make splitting wood easy!

Great Tool a must have if you log or mill timber :)
This tool is tough, reliable and worth its weight in gold to anyone that works with or around timber. I have two of the 48" model, a log carrier and a smaller version as a cant hook, note: if you are milling timber the cant hook doesn't dig into the good timber like the peavey spike does and will save you from loosing good timber.

Excellent tool and very well made
My wife and I use this Peavey to muscle tress weighing well over 400Kg. It takes a bit of practice to use it efficiently and also to recognize that some trees just will not co-operate. Trees with really thick bark like Ponderosa Pines and Cedars can be difficult, but Birches and other thin skinned trees work perfectly. I wish the handle was about a foot longer though...
