Rated 4 out of 5 by I like it so far. I really feel comfortable with this blower, I feel confident that it will start with the limited knowledge and experience I have and the pull on the starter cord is not a chore. I use the pre-mixed fuel and although it is more expensive, it gives me the assurance that I won't mess up the mixture. Thank you, Jackie Morris April 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good value and power but it does not start very good. We have owned Stihl products for years. I still have the chainsaw my Dad bought over 35 years ago. I have also bought two other Stihl saws and pole saw and they have performed better than excellent, they all start on practically the first pull. So buying a Stihl blower was an easy decision. This blower runs well once you get it running, but it's very difficult to start and keep runing until it gets warmed up. I expect alot more out of a Stihl product, very unsatified at this point April 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great machine. I bought one of these blowers, and used it a little while and went and bought another. I let a friend use it and he bought one. Easy to start, great power, lightweight. I been using them for about 5 years, Great blowers. April 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Blower, Can Be Difficult to Start I just received this blower 2 days ago and I am loving it. Plenty of power and is very easy to use. The blower can be difficult to start cold, but if I let it sit and warm up, it has no problems. I have always used Stihl, but this is my first blower, as usual, excellent quality and sales experience. April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great blower I've had the blower for three years and it works great. I purchased the gutter cleaner after the salesman said that this also worked very well. To my surprise it cleaned them out even the shingle stones that get washed in the gutters come flying out. I have all but one extension on it. April 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Running problem I've had this blower for about 6 months. From the very beginning it would stall when I squeezed the trigger. If I feather the trigger a bit it would finally rev up. I took it back 3 times to be checked. First time they said the carb needed adjusting, second time I wasn't letting it warm up completely and the third time they said I was using stale gas. Each time when I got it home it still acted the same, i.e. stalling. I don't know what the exact problem is but I've now found that if I leave the choke closed just a bit it runs fine, no stalling and it revs up instantly. I'm happy now, guess I'll keep it. Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth Every Penny I have had this blower for over 5 years and it has never given me any problems at all. I primarily use it to blow leaves out of my basement window wells, gutters and along fence lines. My only wish would be is that they would make it easier to start because even though I have no problems pulling the rope, it is much more difficult for my girlfriend to use (who enjoys using it) and gets annoyed because I have to start it for her. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good blower, but not easy to start This blower provides excellent power and wind to blow leaves and other light yard debris. Even in winter, full choke (it has only 2 positions) is too much to start the engine, and even in summer, minimum choke (the other position) is too little to start the engine. I have to try to "balance" the choke lever in between the two settings to get the engine started. I took the blower back to the dealer when it wouldn't start for me when I first used it, and they claimed it was flooded, removed the spark plug and pulled the starter to clear the cylinder. That did nothing to solve the basic problem. I think the choke and throttle setup was not calibrated correctly at the factory, and the dealer is basically uninterested in making sure the unit runs correctly. I wonder how inefficiently it is running. Sadly, there are no instructions for calibrating the throttle and choke. February 21, 2014
