Extremely easy assembly; two pieces make the nozzle & it's done!
I bought this for my mother. She LOVES it!! It is very easy to carry, very quiet, but most importantly, very, very powerful! It truly gets the job done. I tried it also & found it easy to manipulate around the yard. It doesn't get hot around the handle. I have several other Stihl products & am glad I purchased this blower for her.

It's a good electric blower. Don't consider the vacuum attachment if offered. It's worthless.
At one point in time Stiehl sold this unit as a combination blower/vacuum. The vacuum feature was worthless. The blower unit is excellent.

    Stihl product are awesome!
I recently bought a stihl blower and love it. It works excellent on yard waste and fluffy snow. I bought a stihl because I bought stihl chainsaw and weed trimmer earlier this year because of availability and service. I will buy stihl in the furture.

    Great homeowner tool
I'm impressed with how well it performs. I had in mind when I went to the dealer that I'd surly need something bigger and more powerful but my dealer didn't think so when I told him what I wanted to use it for and he was right on the money. I mostly use it to blow off the tractor and it's radiator after mowing 6 acres of turf and the landscaping around the house after mowing. I always use premium 91 octane (or higher) non ethanol gas and Stihl oil. Starts easy and runs smooth, light weight and ... read more easy to use for this old man. My typical run time would probably be 30 minutes once a week.

    Easy start.
This blower starts on the second pull and runs great until it runs out of fuel. Refill the tank and it starts immediately.

    Great investment, power, easy
After borrowing blowers from family I decided to spend the money and buy my own. I own a Stihl chainsaw and never had any problems with it. I went to a local Stihl dealer ship where I bought my chainsaw and picked this blower up. They started it up right out of the box and gave it a test run. I went home and started using it. I was amazed how easy it was to start. It has good power for cleaning out gutters. I was also amazed how light the machine is. All in all it is a great machine for any home owner.

    Excelent for General public
Although electric seems new for STIHL I took a chance at the best brand name. So far it has been great through the fall season. I would have liked the two speed offered with the BGE71 but did not want/need the bagger nor additional expense.

    Built to last
I purchased the BGE 61 in the month of January and I have not had a chance to use it for it's intended purpose as of yet because any stray leaves that may exist on my property are buried under a foot or so of snow. I have, however, used it for MY intended purpose, to dry my car after washing without creating any swirl marks on my vehicle. It performed quietly and efficiently to my complete satisfaction. I do tend to wash my cars very early on weekend mornings, so the BGE 61's lower volume should ... read more be appreciated when spring finally comes if my neighbor's windows are open for fresh air. I certainly look forward to incorporating the BGE 61 for its primary use where, I'm sure, it will perform over and above my expectations in comparison to anything I've used to blow leaves during my Fall and Spring cleanups in the past. I always believed; Buy less but buy good. Stihl, thank you for not skimping or cutting corners and doing what it takes to build a superior product.

Great blower, only a few minor suggestions
Excellent product. Made what I thought would be drudgery a fun job, and a quickly-done job. I only have a few minor quibbles. I'm left-handed so using the righty-only blower took some getting used to, and is still somewhat awkward for me. The hose between the blower itself and the rigid plastic arm and hand controls needs to be longer. I find myself needing to crook my elbow behind the plane of my standing body to hold the control handle, which limits the movement available in that arm and ... read more becomes somewhat uncomfortable over time. It feels like being restrained. This hose restriction requires me to walk back and forth more when blowing since I am unable to my extend my right arm to the position I would intuitively if the hose were longer.

    GREAT BLOWER
I've had this BR200 for three years and I gotta say, I love it!!! Very light, very powerful and easy to start. It does good for me in the fall for the clean-ups so I'll be buying STIHL products more often!!!

    Best small consumer backpack
I LOVE THIS BLOWER! even though it doesn't have easy 2 start, it is still very easy to start. it is very powerful, in fact, it can loosen wet embedded leaves. it is also SUPER light, so this is good for a gift to a older kid who loves landscaping, or older people. it also isn't 4-mix, so you don't have to adjust valves. i recommend for someone doing light maintinance to buy stihl motomix, or if you are a small landscaper, to use ethanol free gas with a high octane and mix it with stihl HP ultra ... read more oil. i recommend this blower for homeowners or landscapers!

This product is light, compact and easy to use.
The Stihl BR200 back blower is a great one to have. The small but powerful engine blows leaves at a fast clip. At 12 lbs, it don't even feel like you are wearing the blower. The BR200 blower starts on the 2 or 3 pull! The Stihl BR200 blower is easy to store and easy to use. The fuel efficiency of the small blower will last at least 2 hrs before refilling. I would say this blower is top of the line. I would recommend this product to anyone.

    A-1 on Reliability
I have owned and used this blower for 4 years. I can attest to its reliability and excellent craftsmanship- my blower was submerged in salt water during the Hurricane Sandy storm. I figured I'd need to replace it, but sure enough, it's still hanging on. The engine doesn't sound smooth (there now is a shrill sound emanating from the engine) but it does still start. Good blower.

    I Love It!
The BG 50 is simply a joy to own because its combination of light weight and power is what makes it so handy and fun to use. For the unfamiliar, cold starting the BG 50 is as easy as reading the following 5 steps: 1. Stop Switch Move stop switch to I. 2. Choke Move choke to closed position. 3. Primer Pump primer bulb 5 times. 4. Recoil Starter Firmly grasp hand grip with left hand and fully depress throttle trigger. With right hand, rapidly pull recoil starter handle/rope until ... read more engine fires (or maximum 5 pulls). 5. Choke After engine fires or 5 pulls, move choke to partially-open position. Hold throttle trigger fully depressed and pull starter handle/rope until engine starts and runs. Release throttle trigger and allow unit to warm up at idle for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, move choke to fully open position.

    Nice Blower
I bought in to the Stihl system for the trimmer, but I love the blower as well. It has nice power and is easy to handle. Sometimes I wish there was a slightly smaller nozzle to generate more speed (even at less volume) for some jobs, but it has plenty power for most jobs. The fact that I would like to be able to use it for some places where I would use my compressor tells you that it has a lot of power. Every other cordless blower I ever owned was good for little more than leaves.

    Real power from a cordless
I was very skeptical when I bought my first cordless piece of lawn equipment. It was the Stihl cordless chainsaw, and from the first limb I cut I was impressed. This tool is no different. The convenience of no cord, no fuel, no pull start cannot be stressed enough. I still have the gas version of both and use them when I know I will be at it for an extended period of time, but for a quick cleanup or quick trim this Stihl equipment cannot be beat if for no other reason than time saved, but there ... read more is no loss of quality on a job well done.

    Fully meets all my expectations
Bought it to blow leaves off the roof and clear the gutters. Does all that and more. Even used it this morning to blow the snow off the driveway and Suburban in 10 degree temperature. Using the 160 battery it lasted a full 30 minutes even at that temperature! May have to buy a second 160 battery to increase use life (driveway 150' long) but overall with the sole exception of the high price I love the machine. It is light enough that my wife will use it while she would never use a gas blower of ... read more which I have several.
