Rated 5 out of 5 by Hunter62 Easy to use I do not waste my money paying someone else to sharpen my chains. A sharp chain is a must when using a chainsaw. I have 4 chains I rotate for my ms250. I mostly file and sharpen them at home. I have two chains for the ms362 and one of them is a full skip chain. The full skip is really easy to file in the field at each gas fill up. The stump vice is a great addition to this file set for sharpening. Getting the right angle is easy with this tool. 1-4 strokes is all I need for a sharp chain. Ask the dealer to show you how they work. I have used a dremel and actually prefer the file set. September 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Homebody77 Well thought out and easy to use. I had been doing a lot of tree felling on my property and so I thought I should probably get my saw sharpened to keep the work easy. I didn't want to have to take time out of my day to drop my saw off at a dealer, get it sharpened, and then take more time to pick it up. Call me lazy. I prefer to do the work myself. It gives me more of an intimate knowledge of my tool. See how it ticks so to speak. I bought the sharpening kit for my M170 saw and I have to say it was extremely easy to use. The kit is matched to my chain and with the gauge already marked with the correct angle it made sharpening a snap. This product was very well thought out. Kudos to Stihl. June 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by akflyfisher1 Easy way to keep chain sharp This simple to use tool economically keeps your chain sharp. Just a few strokes every other fill up has kept me cutting fast and smooth. The all in one pouch makes it easy to take to field to keep your chain in top shape. May 4, 2014
