(VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.)- Thirty-eight of the best DockDogs® teams in the world and eight of the best lumberjacks put their heart and soul into competing at the 2010 STIHL Dogs and Logs World Championshipsduring the Oregon State Fair in Salem, Ore., The championship event reached new heights this year as Sean McCarthy and his dog Jordan, set the new world record with a Speed Retrieve time of 4.85 seconds!
While dogs of all breeds competed in events like Iron Dog, Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and the world-record-setting Speed Retrieve, STIHL IRONJACK competitors went head-to-head chopping, speed climbing, boom running, and sawing. The four-day event culminated with the lumberjacks teaming up with the dogs in the Dogs and Logs Relay Championship.

Stirling Hart took first place in the finals for the IRONJACK Championship with a total score of 296.80 points. Cassidy Scheer came in second with 286.04 points and Rob Waibel finished in third place with a total of 281.72 points.
Tony Lampert and Baxter, the underdog team in this competition, were crowned the 2010 Iron Dog World Champions. Coming in second was the dynamic and energetic duo of Craig Haverstick and Henry.
