A great multi-task yard care system, the lightweight and powerful MM 55 C-E STIHL HomeScaper Series™ YARD BOSS® offers the same ability as the MM 55 to quickly convert from a mini-cultivator to an aerator, sweeper, dethatcher and more, but is now also available with the STIHL Easy2Start™ system.
The Easy2Start™ system uses dual spring technology to eliminate the need for a strong fast pull of the starting cord. It also eliminates the resistance and jerks felt as compression is created in the engine's cylinder.
Compact, balanced, streamlined and ergonomic handles make the STIHL YARD BOSS® easy to operate. Handles fold for easy transport and storage. Optional attachments include:
BF Pick Tines Cultivator – Helps to prepare soil for planting by loosening soil in prepared gardening and planting areas. (unit comes standard with pick tines)
BK Bolo Tines Cultivator – A variation of the pick tine, this attachmentoffers an alternative for those that prefer this style of cultivating tine shape.
RL Aerator Attachment – This attachment creates a series of slits into the soil. These holes allow air, moisture, fertilizers and other nutrients to get to the roots.
FC Edger Attachment – A handy tool used to cut a defined or distinct edge to separate the grass lawn from the cultivated soil in a planting area.
KW STIHL PowerSweep™ Attachment* – This powerful attachment cleans up caked dirt along roads and sidewalks, moves pebbles and sand in turf, as well as water and light snow along hard flat surfaces.
MF Dethatcher* – Great for removing the dead grass and other accumulated material from the top of the lawn.
KB Bristle Brush* – This nylon bristle broom makes quick work of any sweeping job. One pass covers an area up to 24” in width.
