VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – STIHL's proven extended
length hedge trimmers are now powered by the patented STIHL
4-MIX® engine. Emissions compliant and longer-running,
the new STIHL HL 100 K (0º), HL 100 K (0-90º) and
HL 100 (0-90º) extended length hedge trimmers, make quick
work out of hard-to-reach trimming jobs.
The STIHL HL 100 series with STIHL 4-MIX technology provides
faster acceleration, more power, more torque and increased
fuel efficiency to get hedge trimming jobs done smoothly and
quickly.
Each model offers a varying combination of either an adjustable
or fixed-angle cutting head and either a 42- or 59-inch shaft
length. The HL 100 K (0º) has a 42-inch shaft and a fixed-angle
trimming head. The HL 100 K (0-90º) has a 42-inch shaft
and a cutting head that can easily be adjusted from zero to
90 degrees in 10-degree increments without tools. And the
HL 100 (0-90º) has a 59-inch shaft, and an adjustable
cutting head, like the HL 100 K (0-90º).
Each HL 100 model has a double-sided reciprocating 24-inch
blade with integrated cutter guard and an anti-vibration system to reduce
operator fatigue. The HL 100 K (0-90º) and HL 100 (0-90º)
also feature a loop handle with barrier bar for multi-position
cutting.
Additional features designed to give lawns, trees and hedges
a professional finish include hardened and ground cutting
blades, a front hand guard, dual stage easy access air filters,
a start up blade lock, and start/run/stop controls on the
trimmers' handles, along with interchangeable gearbox
attachments.
