Derek Monell – Blue Mountain Equipment

Derek Monell is a graduate member of Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management. 

While at the University, Derek was an Agriculture Education High School Teacher and has an affiliation with the Texas Chapter FFA.

Derek has also conducted research projects for the Department of Homeland Security at the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in College Station, Texas. 

Derek’s territory includes Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and College Station.
He conducts STIHL equipment demonstrations, STIHL maintenance and operation training for cities, counties, and state employees, school districts, universities, and parks and recreational facilities promoting the proper and safe use of power tools and providing technical expertise. He also provides training seminars for arborists, landscapers, and loggers.
