Over the years, Luke Wynen has become a well-known veteran of pipe competition, bringing plenty of experience and an impressive resume to the snowboard circuit. A product of Reading, Penn., Wynen can be seen regularly on the podium at major contests across the nation, including the X Games, US Open, and Vans Triple Crown Series. Luke's continuous pursuit of the top was noticed by STIHL, and Luke is the newest addition to Team STIHL.
In 2005, Wynen's talent and leadership positioned himself at the top of the sport as he qualified for the United States National Snowboard Team.
Wynen lives in Mammoth Lakes, CA, with his wife Danielle.

movie Local Soul, which documented trips through

some of the best snowboarders in the world.

Wynen was one of five extreme sport athletes who starred
in a reality TV show entitled Steel Roots TV.
The show's five episodes about snowboarding aired
in December of 2004 on the Inspirational Network.
