The STIHL Super Boat Wins 2008 National & World Championship!

Bob Noble, Jr., president of STIHL Southeast in Orlando, Florida, says he still gets excited when he gets his hands on the big power of a STIHL professional chain saw. But it's not close to the rush he gets when he is behind the controls of his Team STIHL offshore catamaran race boat, hitting the tops of the waves at 110 mph. At speeds like this, it takes two to race the boat. Bob drives and his teammate Grant Bruggemann mans the throttles.

The custom-built STIHL S-13 boat was commissioned by Bob and his wife Kathy in 2007, and went on to win both the National and World Championship in the Stock class series, as part of the Super Boat International Offshore Racing Circuit in 2008.
