"On Tour with the Rolling Stones"

So far this current Stones tour, "A Bigger Bang"...has been exactly that! Starting back in late August of '05, we are about in the middle of this incredible adventure. We've covered a good bit of the US playing some 50+ shows here and will now be going to Puerto Rico, South America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and of course all over Europe. We're currently slated to work through the end of August of '06.

Along the way I've been able to promote my own two latest projects...my new CD "Southscape" and my new children's book, "The Tree Farmer" (www.thetreefarmer.org). We've held events at several schools including in Los Angeles and Dallas. I am working with First Book, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping children to read...and we are giving 10,000 copies of "The Tree Farmer" to them. They will be distributing most of those books to the Gulf Coast area, where so many libraries and schools suffered damage.

"Southscape" is doing well and can be heard from time to time on the smooth jazz stations across the country. The theme of the CD is a musical portrait of the South that I grew up in, have lived in all my life and love so much. Whenever I can sneak a little time at home on Charlane Plantation, you'll find me in the woods using the great tools that my friends at STIHL produce that help me improve our forest stands and the grounds of Charlane.
