STIHL Dogs & Logs World Championships
World-class athletes come in all shapes and sizes. And sometimes, those athletes have four legs, a fur coat, and a
need to fetch. Combine these canine athletes with some of the world’s best lumberjack sports athletes, and you get
an exciting and uniquely entertaining event: the
STIHL Dogs and Logs World Championships.
The event, which airs on the Outdoor Channel, features dogs of all breeds competing in events like the
Iron Dog Big Air, Extreme Vertical and Speed Retrieve.
Then skilled lumberjack athletes vie for the title of "King of the Forest" in the
Ironjack Competition.
This grueling event pits eight lumberjack athletes against one another in six back-to-back events: axe throw, standing chop,
single-buck, obstacle pole race, speed climb and boom run.
The event culminates in a truly unique discipline when the lumberjacks team with their four legged counterparts in the
Dogs and Logs Relay Championship.
