Territory Manager – Mississippi Valley STIHL
Territory is Northern Illinois, including the Chicago-Metro area
Employee Responsibilities:
- Contact existing customers to explain and demonstrate STIHL products, with a goal of increasing STIHL market share.
- Discuss existing market share with dealers, and determine ways to increase market share such as: increased display areas, advertising campaigns, facility improvements, etc.
- Research geographic area for potential customers, and compile lists for future use.
- Provide technical assistance and training to dealers and end users regarding product use and benefits.
- Prepare regular sales call reports, and maintain account status.
- Participate in trade shows, sales promotions, and dealer/customer promotions as necessary.
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Additional formal education or training.
- 5 years of experience in distribution sales or marketing.
- Must have physical ability to use and operate STIHL products such as chain saws, cut-off saws, trimmers, blowers, etc.
- Must be able and willing to work non-standard hours including early mornings, late evenings and weekends in order to meet customer needs
- Must live in or be willing to live in the assigned territory of Northern Illinois area.
- Possess a clean DMV record.
- Must be willing to travel a minimum of 4 nights per week.
Advertising Assistant - Hillsborough, North Carolina
Employee Responsibilities:
- Review dealer co-op advertising claims and process credits.
- Develops annual co-op advertising budget for dealers.
- Assists in the administration of group newspaper advertising programs.
- Interacts with advertising agencies regarding creative content and media buys.
- Administers dealer yellow pages advertising program in conjunction with yellow pages marketing agency.
- Prepares spreadsheets, correspondence, reports and other documents to support the sales and marketing staff.
- Serves as back up to the receptionist.
- Assists various departments with meeting planning and coordination.
- Provides filing, typing and report generation assistance.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
- One to three years related experience and/or training.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
INTERMOUNTAIN STIHL
Territory Manager - Territory is Montana and northwestern Wyoming.
Employee Responsibilities:
